About

My approach to psychiatry is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and deeply understood. I am a double Board-Certified Psychiatrist in General and Addiction Psychiatry with over a decade of experience spanning the globe. After completing my medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and addiction psychiatry fellowship at Emory University, I’ve worked in various settings from the front lines doing street medicine to public health system in New Zealand. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that true mental wellness requires a broader perspective than a standard clinical setting often allows. I founded Dragonfly Psychiatry to offer a different experience: one that is as personalized as the clients I serve.

I offer a culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirming space where empathy and validation are the foundation of our work together. As a mother of two and a professional, I know firsthand the complexities of modern life. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” model; instead, I provide intentional, personalized care that integrates evidence-based medicine with lifestyle optimization and cognitive behavioral skills. My goal is to work as your partner, helping you navigate life’s transitions with a sense of balance and a clear perspective.
